Getting Started with OC Pro

OC Pro customers can manage calls in a hybrid scenario utilizing both Operator Connect and Direct Routing calling capabilities for different site locations. For example:

Location A is configured to manage calling with Direct Routing with dedicated Online PSTN gateway configured appropriately.
Location B is configured to manage calling with Operator Connect with dedicated Online PSTN gateway configured appropriately.

SBC by default connects calls through either Direct Routing or Operator Connect. This is determined when the customer license is applied; if the Advanced Settings are configured including the configuration of a Proxy set, then an IP group is created on the SBC and a IP Group link is established with the Live Cloud portal. The numbers are then uploaded to the default Direct Routing dial plan 'CustDialPlan' (see Creating New Customer from a Lead ). If thej Advanced Settings are not configured, then the numbers are by default uploaded to the OCDialplan.

Do the following:
1. In the Multitenant Navigation pane, open the All Services page, click SysAdmin link for the relevant service to open the Service portal.
2. In the Navigation pane, select UMP License. Click Refresh license to display updated licensed data. If you assigned an Operator Connect user to a number in the Teams admin center, then the parameter Managed Users-Operator Connect is updated accordingly. Other license parameters will be updated once you start performing actions in the Customer portal. In the example below, one user has been assigned a number.

3. In the Navigation pane, select Users. Note the assigned number highlighted below.

4. In the Navigation pane, select Online Voice Routing and then select the Voice Routing tab. Note the default Routing Policy Unrestricted.

5. Click Voice Routes. If you configured a DNS sub domain in the Onboarding then you will see the association in the PSTN Gateway Lsit column.

6. Assign a number range based on the uploaded numbers (see Managing Number Ranges).
7. Assign a number from the defined range to a user (see Manually Provisioning Users).
8. In the Navigation pane, select Queued Changes. Note the following entries:
Online Voice Routing Policy 'Unrestricted' has been granted as configured.
Enterprise Voice is enabled.
'Allow Calling' Teams Policy has been granted to the user
The new phone number has been added.

9. In the Navigation pane, select Users. Note the following entries:
A Line URI is configured with one of the phone numbers from the defined range.
Online Voice Routing Policy 'Unrestricted' is configured.
Online PSTN Gateway is configured.
